Our Philosophy
Mo Maya is a sustainable brand that believes in highest quality with least amount of environmental impact. We provide jobs to artisans in 4 villages across India. Our goal is to continue supporting communities of artisans, especially women, in developing economies. All our products are individually handmade by these artisans, not mass-produced in a factory.
We also believe in minimising wastage and using least amount of resources to reduce our carbon footprint. We do not use plastic or other non-biodegradable materials for packaging and shipping. All our shopping bags are made from leftover fabrics and are multipurpose and reusable.
We also take pride in working with a school for disabled high school students in Ludhiana, India that helps their students with part time handicraft jobs; they make 80% of our fabric bags.
